Moonlight on Main
The Museum of the Moon
The Museum of the Moon is an international touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram measuring seven meters in diameter featuring detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
LOCAL PUBLIC ART
The Moonlight on Main event will turn downtown Belmont into a lunar-inspired outdoor art gallery with GOBO artwork projected onto buildings around downtown and feature art installations throughout Stowe Park from local students and other groups. The original GOBO artworks can be found for sale in various downtown galleries and businesses.
EVENTS
The events centered around the Museum of the Moon exhibit will bring an experience for everyone to downtown Belmont. From educational lectures to rock concerts, the moon will be the backdrop for a wide array of events for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.

Museum of the Moon
The Museum of the Moon installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight, and surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award-winning composer Dan Jones. The exhibit will be available for visiting weekends beginning October 22, 2021.
Moonlight on Main is presented by the Downtown Belmont Development Association.
